Currently sitting in a hotel in Williamsburg, Kentucky on my drive down to Vero Beach.
Alright…took enough time off from the old blog! Just starting up some new (ad)ventures as I like to call them. By the way (or is it bye the way??) been watching the NCAA semi finals on TV . ‘Nova made 13 three pointers in the first half. Is that amazing or what??
Driving down to Vero beach for the first ever “Your Call Football” effort. Actually this has been tested in New England last year…..but this is the first time they have marketed the venue. Should be awesome experience.
The platform reminds me of Madden Football and Fantasy rolled into one product. But…with real players who have been prepared to play. Think about it – how many times as the normal person say – the dumb coaches should run the ball…or those dumb coaches should pass the ball.
Then there is always the – wow “why aren’t you going for it – why aren’t you kicking the field goal.
But now, – it comes down the what you as a fan – wants to do. There is a reason it is called “Your Call Football.” It means that you call the offensive plays. Don’t ask me how in the world they can tabulate this out. But they do!

To be honest with you I don’t know all of this fancy computerized, streaming, tabulating etc etc stuff works. Hey this is football!
Sound Mind Sound Body Europe
Also, our trip to Switzerland is becoming clearer by the day. That will be a three pronged platform involving Coaching clinic, On field coaching of players and a combine for the players who attend.
It will be held in Tenero, Switzerland on August 3,4,5. Tenero has a national sports venue with housing and cafeteria, meeting rooms, fields and most importantly a synthetic field (in case of rain.)
We looked at many places in Switzerland…but this group seemed the most interested and also the most supportive. But, really it is a fantastic complex.
We will build our product around “Sound Mind Sound Body” and the tremendous set up they use. You can find this great idea on the website!
My friends here in the US – Curtis Blackwell (Sound Mind Sound Body) and Terry Copacia (All )State Quarterback School are the driving forces here in the states. Giorgio Volpi and Fulgenzio Jorio are our principals overseas. It is quite a group and talk about smart guys who understand football.
Me…basically I sit back and watch these guys do their thing! I guess I am in charge of developing Beeramyds in Switzerland!
*****Just an aside, I will tell you this – trying to establish this platform overseas has been challenging. But, it has been a lot of fun. You are talking about an ocean between us – also time differences. Thank goodness for Skype – it is amazing to me that Skype is free! Wow…powerful stuff!*****
One of the very cool things about our European effort will be the fact that we are being backed by the SAFV (Schweizerischer American Football Verband) – Swiss American Football Federation. The president Glenn Chase…Vice President Franck Metachi and Director of the national teams Andreas Keller have endorsed our effort.
Anyone is welcome – we obviously are trying to develop the Swiss junior team….however it is open to anyone and any age bracket. I have heard from people in Italy, Germany and the Netherlands and we have’t even finished our website or started to publicize the event.
This is going to be great!
